Words To Live By

{via}

Today marks the beginning of my favorite week of the year, Holy Week.
And to me the most beautiful words we'll all hear in worship today are these:

"Behold your King is coming to you"
Matthew 21:5

There's so much more to Matthew 21 describing Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem,
but those words sum up the anticipation of His unfathomable grace we'll all celebrate this week.
Behold your King is coming to you. Amen.

Wishing you all a beautiful, glory-filled Palm Sunday!

P.S. - We made an unexpected trip to Birmingham late Friday night. Jeff's precious 91yr old Mimi passed away yesterday. Words can't adequately describe what a magnificent Lady she was, nor how deeply we already miss her. And today is the 10th anniversary of my Grandmother's passing. So we take solace & joy knowing these two sweet, wonderful ladies are worshiping Jesus together today.
We so covet your prayers y'all. Thank you!

Good morning from L.A.!

Ally, this is a wonderful week of anticipation. I completely understand your sentiments as we wait for next Sunday! We're thinking of you and Jeff and holding you high in prayer. There is always sadness in the passing of those we love, but as you so aptly said, joy as well. Joy in remembering and in knowing that they are with our heavenly father, experiencing true Paradise. *HUGS*

Warmly,

Elizabeth

Sending prayers up for Jeff and his family, and yours as well! It is so hard to lose a loved one, but reflecting on the memories with them is such a wonderful way to celebrate life!

Sending prayers to you and Jeff. I am so sorry for your loss. That is a beautiful verse, though.
