What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday y'all!

Only 2 days into the work week & I'm already dreaming of the weekend. Sigh.
But despite the busy-ness, this week has also been filled with lots of happy.
So I'm linking up with Jamie at This Kind Of Love for her
What I'm Loving Wednesday series and sharing the joy!

So here are a few fun things I'm loving today:

{One}

No doubt Spring has descended on Dixie and it's glory is seen in the gorgeous Bradford Pears
scattered everywhere throughout Charlotte. They're so dainty & beautiful!

{Two}

Leftovers for lunch. I made this scrumptious Penne with Chicken, Broccoli & Sundried Tomatoes
last night and I'm just as shocked as you are that there's a morsel of pasta left.
But Jeff is in New York for the week so I'm hogging all the good eats :)

{Three}

My 3 best friends & I are in the midst of planning a Girls Weekend in Atlanta at the end of the month coinciding with The Color Run! It's an easy 5K for charity but the fun part is the pelting of
dry paint you're doused with along the way. Looks cool, right? Can't wait!!

{Four}

Jess' playlists from The Love List. I'm a huge fan of her site anyways, but her compilations are amazing.
This one in particular is one we've been digging around our house lately.

{Five}

My favorite pin of the week :: Gratitude

So what are y'all loving today, besides the fact that we're halfway to the weekend? :)
Head on over to Jamie's blog & link up!

That race looks ridiculously fun! Also, I too am in love with Jessica's music compilations on Spotify. I hope you're having a great week!

The Bradford Pears are beautiful.

Hmmmm...I don't know if I could be all painted like that. Brave girl.

That dish looks great. I'm off to read the rest of your posts from this week....little behind.

Paint in my hair? Well...NAH, it's far too much work keeping this coif coifed for me to get it all painted up. But that does look like fun!

How I do love Bradford Pear trees in the spring. That is honestly the ONLY time I enjoy seeing those trees as those white blooms just do something warm and fuzzy to me.

New York for the week and YOU'RE not there! OMG, I would kill to go on a deluxe shopping spree in the city of my birth. And NY in the spring is just stellar.

yay for spring descending on the south! loving your 'what i'm loving wednesday' - today, i'm loving the 70-degree weather in nashville, especially since we're gearing up for a bunch of rainy days in a row. going to get out + enjoy it!

I love that it's Spring in Charlotte. So glad winter is gone, even if it was barely there.

I am loving that someone else thinks the Color Run looks fun! I didn't know if it was just me. I can't wait for it to come to Charlotte. Definitely post some pictures after the Atlanta one.

We ran The Color Run when it was in Austin. It was a rainy, muddy mess! It was so fun, though! You'll love it!

i actually have no desire to be dosed with paint while i run lol but at least it is for a good cause :)

The race looks AWESOME! How incredibly fun! And I burst out laughing at the title "Baby Making Music". Yup, pretty much looks like a goooood CD, hahahaha!

This post had me jumping all over the place....aka, I loved it!

I'm loving NYC's current weather. Your hubby is getting to see NYC at it's best in March. 60 degrees today, 68 tomorrow! The little kid in me has been dying to play outside all day today.

My favorite items on your list is 1)the pasta (amazing recipe!), and 2)the Color Run. For someone who is very easily distracted while running, I have a feeling that getting pelted with paint while running would definitely keep me focused on the finish line!

Ohh... those trees... so pretty!! The Color Run looks like so much fun! :) Great verse.

The paint run looks like a fun time with friends.
and the pasta looks amazing

Oh wow I so want to do one of those colour runs now, especially if the amazing pasta was at the end of it!!

Yes, I love when the Bradford Pears bloom - but gosh, I think they may be why I spent all weekend sick (at least I hope it was allergies...I hope I didn't catch a nasty cold, lol). :-)

I think Spring ran thru and we are now in summer. I hope it comes back for a while.
I believe that the Color Run is coming to Charlotte later this year.
