Today is the 70th Anniversary Event celebrating the epic romance Casablanca!
If you know me or are a fan of this blog you know I'm a huge classic movie buff.
So tonight is a big deal - Jeff & I are watching Casablanca on the big screen here in Charlotte!!
And you can too - check here for local theater listings.

We have a couple of vintage movie prints in our media room, but nothing for Casablanca.
I'm loving these two prints I found on Etsy, in particular:

Im loving this fun retro post. I have never seen Casablanca so I will have to check it out and what a good time to do that during the 70th.
Love the Fedora and earrings.
Im going to have to copy that cheat sheet
"Mad Men" is a show I've never seen, but I've heard so much about it over the years that I may have to go check out the first season—see if it hooks me or not :)
That said, I have seen "Casablanca" and I still keep waiting for her to not fly away at the end (ridiculous, right). But how I do love a good love story and they certainly knew how to spin em' back then—amongst one of my all time faves is "The Philadelphia Story" with Hepburn, Stewart, and Grant. I just ADORE that movie to pieces!
Love that trench in the photo, too. So classy.
Happy Hump Day, girl!
Love Casablanca and all these retro collections! I haven't gotten into Mad Men yet because I know that as soon as I start watching it I will be addicted like crazy. Have a great Wednesday!
fun! + i love the cocktail cheat sheet - i'll definitely be using that in the future!
I always love to see what you're loving! By-the-way, I bought the Dr. Jart's Beauty Balm that you recommended a couple of weeks ago and it's amazing! Thanks for sharing!
I've never seen Casablanca. I need to have classic movie night and rent it and the the Godfather (which I've never seen either). I'm setting the Tivo for Mad Men. I'm hooked. Love the Mad Men inspired menu.
Love that little cheat sheet
I love the board that you pulled together. Reminds me of Out of Africa! :)
I have never seen Casablanca! Or Gone With the Wind.
What a great post. I love the drink cheat sheet.
I've never seen Casablanca either, and I need to do so. Loved all that you put together. YOur party sounds great, and the food....well, that would be a great menu.
Love that lipstick color!
I love all of this. I am so looking forward to Mad Men's return!
I love how you are always hosting parties. Our apartment is a little small for that, but I also don't think any of our friends would be up for doing things like this. It is hard to even get people to get together to go out to dinner!
I've been wanting to watch Mad Men for a few years now but it hasn't happened. I think I'd love it (for the fashion if nothing else). I asked my b/f to download season 1 - better start at the beginning, right? We spent all last summer watching Dexter, so I suggested MM for this summer's project. ;-)
I don't think I can name all of the things I love about this post! The retro is so fun!!
I love the prints, and the cocktail cheat sheet!
