Lotions & Potions :: Spring Skincare Faves

I've mentioned on the blog numerous times how beautiful my Mother's skin is. She's in her mid-60s and her face still flawless. She doesn't use expensive products, or spend her weekends at a spa, Mom just
inherited a beautiful porcelain complexion. Lucky Lady! While I got some of her good genes thankfully,
I also got my Dad's sensitive skin, oily t-zone, and love for the sun. Le sigh.

So I have to invest a little more effort & bank into caring for my face properly. But I'll be honest, I'm a lotions & potions girl at heart anyways, which means I'm always on the hunt for amazing beauty miracles!
And as the seasons change, so do our skincare needs. Now that Spring is here I'm moving away from
heavy creams & masks to more in the way of light, gentle cleansers & tinted moisturizer.
Here's a few of my current favorites for a fresh Spring face:

1. Bliss Triple Oxygen Energizing Mask: I've been a Bliss skincare fan for years, but this mask is my ultimate favorite & indulgence. It's foamy & not drying or cakey; perfect for a dewy Spring complexion.
2. Natura Bisse The Cure Cleanser: I'm a new devotee of the brand & love it. It's a tad pricey, but worth every penny. The Cure is extremely gentle & hydrating. It's the best cleanser I've ever used.
3. Fresh Sugar Lip Polish: I'm wild about this stuff! The polish is made of brown sugar crystals that buff and condition your lips to leave them super soft & kissable. It's also husband approved, I'm happy to report ;)
4. Clarisonic Mia: I've had mine for over a year now & it's hands down the single best skincare investment I've ever made. I use it every other day for an amazing exfoliating deep cleanse.
5. Dr. Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm: My newest obsession! It's a moisturizer, 45 spf sunscreen, serum & brightener all in one. BB evens out my skin so well, it's eliminated my need to wear foundation. Awesome!
6. Natura Bisse The Cure Pure Serum: In a word... amazing. The serum is a detox & deep cellular moisturizer that leaves my skin dewy with the bonus of anti-aging peptides. It's a must-have for me now.

So tell me about your current skincare regimen. What are your latest lotion & potion faves?
If you haven't switched up your routine in a while, try a few of these!

I need to get a clarisonic asap! It's been on my list for awhile, finally time to pull the trigger.

I've ben using the clarisonic for almost 4 yrs now and it's truly life changing. Not so much for cleaning but it just buffs dry skin and fluffs up collagen or something. Amazing. I also use the Opal and the results aren't as dramatic but still effective. It took me 3 months to get results with clarisonic but so worth it.

It sounds like we have very similar skin except I'm as pale as they come and tanning isn't an option. I'll have to try that moisturizer! Have you tried any of the Origins products?

This was incredibly informative to me, I am SO bad about using different things for my face, I seriously need to invest!

It's always the genes, isn't it.

I've tried some natural blisse. Now, I use some things my dermatologist recommended. I don't have the names down here with me. I use oil of olay during the day though.

I am a product junkie and love hearing what other people love. I have been thinking about investing in a Clarisonic, but haven't taken the plunge yet. I keep hearing amazing things about it, though.
