What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday y'all!

Only 2 days into the work week & I'm already dreaming of the weekend. Sigh.
But despite the busy-ness, this week has also been filled with lots of happy.
So I'm linking up with Jamie at This Kind Of Love for her
What I'm Loving Wednesday series and sharing the joy!

So here are just a few fun things I'm loving today:

{One}
How Mad Men cute is this dress? It's a custom dress from an Etsy Designer Heart My Closet, that I just ordered. The best part: it's less than $100. Love it!

{Two}
With all the time I'm spending in the pool each week for Masters Swim, my skin is drying out fast. So I've started using a more intense moisturizer for my face that is a miracle worker: Dr. Loretta's Age Change. It's a perfect winter solution for dry skin with age prevention antioxidants & a brightener. Score!

{Three}
My best friend Christina got me hooked on Trevor Moran's youtube videos. His latest impromptu dance party at a Cali Apple Store is freakin' hilarious. Check out his vids. You're welcome ;)
Also, I'm pretty sure this is how American Idol is gonna kill the United States.

{Four}
Holy Super Bowl awesomeness! Add these darling macarons to our Super Bowl Party Menu for Sunday. While chocolate, salted caramel & nutella sounds divine, I've made macarons from scratch before & they're a pain in the fanny. I'll be hitting up our Bakery for the macs & just piping on the football stitch. How cute!

{Five}
It's National Signing Day! I'll be camped out on georgiadogs.com all morning watching all of our new football recruits fax in their LOIs (letters of intent) and waiting for news of last minute flips in our favor. Growing up, this was a holiday in my family. My Dad would take us out of school, head to Athens
and we'd hang out on campus & at The Blind Pig with all the other nutty UGA football fanatics
to celebrate new players & hopes of future championships. Go Dawgs!!
And for all you SEC fans out there like me, here's your field guide to today's festivities.

So what are y'all loving this Wednesday?
Drop me a note in the comments or link up with us over at Jamie's blog!

Love the buttons on the back of that dress! I've never made macarons before but I just got a silpat so I'm dying to try it out. Therefore I request a recipe post along with tips and tricks :) Have a great day!

The dress is adorable. So cute. I think Apple should hire Trevor to do their next commercial. Macarons seem to be the new cupcake. They are everywhere!! I'm going to have to try one.

Leslie: Me too! And their chili cheese fries. Lord have mercy, their chili cheese fries... Great signing day for the Dawgs! :)

Kelly: That's exactly why I picked that Galaxy dress. I loved her attention to detail. I will! I have a macaron tip sheet from a French Pastry Chef that I can email you. They're tough to get right, but oh so good!

Tracy: My pleasure! Thanks for the sweet comment. My Bama Hubby is in Hong Kong at 2am watching all the signees pour in. Y'all should have a stellar class as usual. SEC love!

Christina: Me too - I love that vintage Mad Men style! Women were always so feminine then. I love that style too.

Amy: Thanks doll, I love it too! Oh that sounds wonderful. I'm in the minority I know, but I love rainy winter days with a hot cup of chai and a cozy afghan on the couch. Enjoy your day, Amy!

Steph: Right? Trevor isn't lacking for confidence, that's for sure haha. You must try a macaron. I'll warn you though, you can never just eat one ;)

Hi, Ally! The Mad Men style dress is to die for! What a great purchase!

I am so impressed that you've tried and succeeded in making macaroons before! But, I'm sure buying them is worth saving all the time to create your own.

That is such a cute story about your Dad taking you out of school for Georgia signing day. I'm sure you have such sweet memories from those trips!

Cheers,
Christi

Loved the things you put in your post today. How old is that kid? Can you imagine being in that store?

I'm putting you in on my sidebar so I won't miss your posts. I get very behind in my dashboards. Loved what you said on my blog today about my daughter's teen years. Too funny.

My sister-in-law and her hubby went to Ga.

those macaroons are too cute- love your "fanny" comment, ha!! if anything in the kitchen is a pain to make/create, I always head to the store then just put it on a nice dish and add some garnish:) voila!!

Oh my goodness! That video was awesome. I could not stop watching him dance! I wish I had some of those moves :)

Christi: Thanks, I thought so too. Can't believe it was under $100 for a custom dress. I'm hoping some of the Ladies that visit the blog will check her site out as well. Yes, macarons aren't easy - I'm always super impressed when I see people bake them! And thank you - I miss my Dad so much. It's fun memories like those that I cherish the most :)

Hines: I have no idea how old he is, maybe 13? He sure doesn't lack for confidence, I know that much haha! Thanks for following - I love your blog! And tell your SIL & her Hubby I said "Go Dawgs!"

Jen: Amen sista. I know my limitations in the kitchen :)

Amy: Right? Check out his other videos - sheer mindless entertainment. And a great way to practice his moves ;)
