Love Is...

It's so easy to think of Valentine's day as a holiday for couples, but that's just too small isn't it?

To me February 14th is a day set aside to express my love & affection toward everyone dear to me.

It's a day to forgive hurts once and for all. It's a day to reach out to friends & make new ones.

It's a day to shower my Mom and Jeff's parents with gratitude & honor.

It's a day to adore our siblings & spoil our nephews.

It's a day to encourage a neighbor who's struggling, and spread hope in our community.

But most importantly Valentine's Day to me is a day to love big, in word & deed, as Christ first loved me. Because love is always the answer.
