Little rant here, you're forewarned....
When deciding to start a blog i debated about going with Wordpress or Blogger, choosing the latter because it connects seamlessly with my google account and because of it's popular, user-friendly platform. Boy am i regretting that decision. It's been one issue after another, with daily hair pulls over the simplest of design changes or posting edits. To top it off, Blogger not only didn't publish my schedule posts correctly over the weekend, but completely deleted my recipe post that was supposed to publish yesterday morning. I'm beyond frustrated. Since our blog is still so new, i'm thinking about switching it over to Wordpress this week.
Surely i'm not an isolated case? Anyone else having trouble with Blogger on a regular basis? I'd appreciate any help or advice y'all. Thanks!

Blogger never seems to post my scheduled posts - it drives me mental!

All I can say is I've never regretted our move to Wordpress for a second!
Thanks so much for the support, Ladies!
Kristin, i think i may take your advice. We'll be home this weekend for a change & i may use some free time to investigate the move over to wordpress. Again today, my polyvore post didn't publish. By the time i get a break at work to check my blog it's too late to post anything for the day. Grrrrr. I need some chocolate and a big 'ol glass of wine haha :)
I tried Wordpress before, but wasn't patient enough to learn it very well. My blog is very basic right now, but I imagine I'll face some of these issues as I get more involved with it.
Goor afternoon from Tokyo!
Ally, hon, we are all in the same boat and I'm just about to pull out my hair. It's funny, though, as I've been on Blogger for two years and this is the first instance of things going crazy. It seems to be a recent occurrence, and though I may be in the minority in saying this, give it a little time. Blogger may be updating some things or working out a few kinks.
That said, I am so sorry it has been messing up your posts. It's so frustrating to thoughtfully plan out a post, pen it to paper (so to speak), then see it completely erased. I don't want your blogging experience to be a negative one in the least, so even though I'm encouraging you to give Blogger some time, if you'll receive more peace of mind by switching to Wordpress, then go for it! I'll read your blog wherever you shall go.
My best to you and yours...
Warmly,
Elizabeth
PS~Thank you for the kind words and encouragement you leave on my blog. I appreciate them and am so happy to know you!
Lauren: Yeah,Wordpress is a little different. I had a UGA-focused blog a couple of years ago on Wordpress when i was back in Athens working on my Masters. It wasn't easy, but i never had issues. Loving your blog Lauren!
Elizabeth: You are so sweet for the encouragement & i so appreciate the advice. I think you're probably right. I bet Blogger is making some changes-that may be what's behind the issues. Thank you for the support & wisdom. I'm truly grateful and can't wait to meet up in August!
Yes, Blogger is definitely giving us all a hard time in one way or another. I keep waiting for things to be resolved. I am also considering a switch to Wordpress and kinda wish I would have done so sooner as well. However, that being said, I don't have any first hand experience with Wordpress to sing it's praises either.
Good Luck and Best,
Amy
